Is playing bringing something alive? - Lynda Barry
Come play in an experiential workshop on exploring and working with creative blocks using meditation and clay as a medium.
Anxiety, grief, trauma, self-criticism and doubt, fear, and perfectionism can all disrupt our relationship with creativity and make it feel harder to access. Understanding our blocks as messengers of the deeper beliefs we hold can support our relationship with ourselves and help us send energy towards what we want to create with more freedom and ease.
We’ll settle into our time together with a meditation and an exploration of creative blocks, learning how they show up, what they’re trying to communicate to us, and how to move through them in our daily lives. Mal and Grace will guide the group in identifying our own personal creative blocks and lead the group through a somatic exercise, using clay as a medium to play our way into inviting flow states together.
